Mahila Samman Yojana

Gramin Jan Vikas Samiti (GJVS) is an NGO dedicated to the upliftment of rural communities, with a strong focus on women's empowerment. One of its key initiatives is the Mahila Samman Yojana, a programme designed to empower women in rural areas by providing them with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed for economic independence and social equality.

Key Objectives of Mahila Samman Yojana:

1. Economic Empowerment:
Mahila Samman Yojana focuses on enhancing the economic status of rural women by encouraging entrepreneurship and self-employment. Through the formation of self-help groups (SHGs), GJVS provides women with access to microcredit facilities that enable them to start small businesses, such as tailoring, handicrafts, animal husbandry, and agriculture-based enterprises.
